Purvanchal Expressway Toll Plaza List: Purvanchal Expressway will be subject to a toll in Uttar Pradesh. This expressway will be subject to a toll tax starting May 1.

UP sources have informed us that a toll tax on the Purvanchal Expressway will be imposed along the same lines as the Agra Expressway. Agra Expressway levies a toll tax of Rs 2.15 a kilometer.

If the toll tax rate is based on this rate, a driver of a vehicle will be required to pay Rs. 731 in order to travel from Lucknow to Ghazipur.

Purvanchal Expressway is 340 km long between Lucknow and Ghazipur. The company will now be selected to operate the toll after the cabinet of Yogi Ajityanath approves the toll tax.

Purvanchal Expressway Toll Plaza List

For the years 2022-2023, toll rates have been set (with a 25 percent discount) on Purvanchal Expressway between Lucknow and Ghazipur.

The toll rates are Rs 675 per car, jeep, van or light motor vehicle, Rs 1065 per light commercial vehicle, light goods vehicle or minibus, Rs 2145 per bus or truck, heavy construction machinery (HCMs), Earth Moving Equipment EMI or Rs 3,285 or Rs 4,185 respectively for a Multi Axle Vehicle (3 to 6 axles).

Avnish Awasthi, Chief executive officer of UPEDA, informed that the Council of Ministers had already approved the selected agent for the operation and toll collections of toll plazas on the Purvanchal Expressway as well as the provision of 06 ambulances and twelve patrol vehicles (including essential staff).

The information has been provided. The state government can also ensure the safety of vehicles and passengers by collecting tolls.
